I call bullshit on every argument like this.
I could go ahead and say Cave Story ripped off every Late NES and early SNES run and gun game, but I don’t, because it sounds retarded.
Perfect example would be the game “Rouge,” spawned imitators that created the Rouge-like genre, so this could start a kind of “Cave-like,” gene.
